This could seriously change lives! My husband is acutely short sighted as well as colour blind, to the extent that he is unable to drive. It impacts on every aspect of our lives, from buying toothbrushes to coming up with rather elaborate lift schemes. We've become so accustomed to this lifestyle (I automatically read subtitles aloud, even when I'm not with him), and the thought of a solution for all this is mindblowing.

Viva technology, indeed.
