Raymond,

i enjoyed reading your observations and analysis of a growing reality in our world.

I find it important to observe and track the trends that humanity experiences, but i always find myself asking the value questions. while you encourage us not to judge this alternate way of "socialising", how healthy is it?

i recently met a young couple, through my partner this week. she's a lawyer, he's a psychologist. interesting couple, relationship of 6-8 years, no children, married. she remarked to my wife, regarding their relationship, that she is struggling that he is gaming unitl all hours of the night.

i suspect she longs for the type of intimacy that in the old world we called touching.

is their relational struggle just a different struggle (in view of different ways of relating) or is his behaviour unhealthy avoidance of relational intimacy?
