It is a sad day when the youth of this country lose respect for those in authority, and flout as Aloysias Maimane says, office policy. I am unable to grasp the logic behind Maimane's argument. The problem with this country is that the youth, who have no experience of life or any wisdom, feel that they can simply walk into a job and not only do as they please, but try to dictate what company policy should be. Rules and policies are there for a reason. It seems as if the youth of this country are developing nothing more than the average taxi-driver’s attitude, who believes that rules are for others. This is nothing less than an anomalistic attitude that is going to backfire on the youth seriously. It would be disturbing if this really is the attitude becoming prevalent among working, and I assume from the article, educated youth. Even more disturbing is that the argument for anomalism is put forward by someone who is clearly a youth themselves. My question is, will it simple stop at that, or is this the beginning of the end for this country?
