Awesome article!! A lot of it is true, but undoubtedly I cannot identify with every aspect of it, since it is based on America's generation. Looking at America's Gen-Yers and South Africa's Gen-Yers I would have to say there are distinct differences that jump out at me; differences that can be attributed to a whole range of things from culture, environment and to how much "ahead" America is, and even that statement is incredibly ambigious. But I have to say, that certain characteristics of Gen-Yers as written in this article, are evident in my generation in this country, despite the headstart America's Gen-Yers might have had over us.
Great writing, and am looking forward to reading more on how awesome we Gen-Yers are!! (Is that characteristic of a Gen-Yer?? )
