I am very glad you enjoyed your stay in my country.

What you forget to mentioned is the severe poverty in this country. You forget to mentioned that we are leaders in the world with crime figures.

You forgot to tell the people of the world that, the people of this country lives in fear everyday. You forgot to tell the people of the world about the rape of women and children. That our men is sodomised. You forgot to tell the world that your life is worth nothing here.

You forgot to tell the world about the farm murders. The land redistribution and that most off this land is not worked. You forgot to tell the world that churches are robbed.

You forgot to tell the world of the rape of women, that broken glass was pushed in her vagina. You forgot to tell the world how our babies is raped, kill and burn alive.

If anybody in there rihgt mind calls this a civilised world. They realy must think again.

This is what the world brought to South Africa.
Yes if you are not afraid to loose your live here come and invest money here.Bur just remember one thing this Africa.

Funny how, despite all his positive remarks, the average South African, regardless of colour, was significantly better off under the previous regime, despite sanctions.
Vastly more people have been murdered during the ANC's rule than in a much longer time before that.
A vast number of South Africans have left the country.
Their average knowledge and skill level being way above the average - staying in South Africa is clearly not the smart thing to do.
And the outflux of these people is still going on.
See this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfVqN0XUqYs

For a taste of the truth, read this:

Before we immigrated to South Africa I have already been an entrepreneur in Germany. The last 11 years down here have been the most satisfactory ones from a entrepreneurship point of view. As Mr. John Mauldin, outlines, there are plenty of opportunities here and although there is a certain degree of inifficancy, but that gets outweight by the huge opportunities someone finds here.

Well we like it here, but sometimes wonder if it is simply a well kept secret.

I sell businesses in this great country. I tend to sell more to South Africans, as there is a poor perception about our country amongst foreigners.

Sad.

It is so refreshing to see a different and relevant perspective of South Africa and emerging markets. As someone that has lived outside of South Africa for the last 13 years you can only appreciate the strides the country has made whilst in the my "exile".I now live in Cape Town and Mr Mauldin is right it is a breathtaking city ;the enthuisism is a stark contrast from developed markets and one can only be infused by this.
